It’s a HOPE Food Packing Party!

On Saturday, October 1st beginning at 9am HOPE volunteers will work together to pack over 12,000 meals in two hours’ time. Our partners, Stop Hunger Now, will lead us through all the various packaging stations.

Volunteers will set up and take down packaging stations and equipment; fill bins with raw ingredients; scoop ingredients into meal bags; weigh and seal the bags; box and stack them on pallets; and load the pallets and equipment onto a truck.

This is a great family friendly service event. Children 4 years and older, along with their parents, can serve at a packing party. 

• All volunteers must sign up by Sunday, September 25th. We are limited to 75 volunteers only! You must sign up online.
• Volunteers between ages 4-16 years old must be accompanied by a parent.
• We will begin serving at 9am and will be finished at 11am. Yup, 12,000 meals in 2 hours.
• Everyone registered will receive a HOPE #weServe t-shirt to wear on Saturday, October 1st. When registering online please bring your email confirmation to receive your t-shirt.
• All money collected helps fund our party. It cost over $3,500 to host a packing party.
